John Laurence Emery, 45, held on 5000 dollars bail in Scotts Bluff County Jail on charges of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Nebraska State Patrol Investigator Richard Larsen Kimball arrested him on Highway 30 near Kimball after spotting Emery in a suspected stolen 1969 Plymouth. Lloyd Ketteler 29 of Denver Colorado a Dalton native died after a long illness in a Denver hospital. Born October 26 1941 in Dalton he was a Dalton High School graduate and married September 2 1961 in Denver to Patricia Ann Garcia. They had one son and three daughters. Requiem Mass is set for 9 a.m. Thursday at Assumption Church Welby with a rosary at 7 30 p.m. Wednesday at Olinger Funeral Home Denver. Burial will be in Denver St Marys Church hosts a memorial Requiem Mass at 9 a.m. Thursday led by Rev. Cletus Semper.
Sidney police investigated a minor two car accident in front of the U S Post Office. Clara Fleming backed from a parking space and struck James Lodes parked car at 2440 Parkview. Damage totaled about 10 dollars to the Fleming vehicle and 125 dollars to the Lodes car.
