Rites Held for James L. Hand in Lincoln
James L. Hand a longtime Sidney machinery and farm implement dealer died in a Denver hospital at 2 45 am Tuesday after weeks of illness. Funeral services were held at Wadlow Mortuary Lincoln Thursday at two and burial followed. Survivors include his wife Ida and daughter Marilyn. a son James Jr. preceded in death. Hand had lived in Sidney since 1928 and ran the Massey Harris agency now The Midwest Equipment Co after selling The Midwest Tractor and Machinery Company. He was active in sports and farm interests and held life memberships in Masonic lodges in Lincoln and Kansas City.
