Funeral for Edna Empson Held in Chappell
Edna Empson 72 of Sidney died in a hospital after a ten day illness. Funeral services are set for Thursday at 2 p.m. at Chap pell Methodist Church with Rev. Lowell Jones officiating. Survivors include son J W Empson of Chappell another son Clyde Empson of Sidney a daughter Mrs Lloyd Keniny of Julesburg eight grandchildren brother Jack Boutson of Boulder and sister Mrs Grace Sullivan of El Segundo California. Mr Empson preceded her in death five years ago.

License suspended for drunken driving in Cheyenne County Court

Two Vehicle Mishap Damages Car and Truck in Sidney

The Chadron municipal airport welcomed Frontier Airlines first scheduled flight from Omaha to Casper. A 9 a.m. mountain arrival kicked off sightseeing tours over Chadron.
