Walter G Schaer age 60 former Sidney resident died Sunday in a Denver hospital after two years of declining health. Burial plans tentative at Ft Logan National Cemetery. He and Mrs Schaer came to Sidney five years ago for near their son Paul R in Dover and daughter Mrs Melvin Zwickl in Glenwood Springs. The couple moved to Denver in May. He previously lived in Omaha where he worked for Union Pacific Railroad. Mrs Schaer resides with their son at 5030 W Alaska Place Denver.
