Plaintiffs William Heo Male and others file a universal petition in Cheyenne County Nebraska seeking foreclosure of a trust deed executed June 18 1897 by Celia A Wetzel and Michael Wetzel to American Investment Co through trustee E S Ormsbey on 50 percent of Section 3 Township 13 Range 60. The bond totals 600 with 7 percent interest and notes totaling 1.00 per year start dates June and December with taxes and interest due. Plaintiffs claim 400.40 plus interest and 770 in taxes paid, seek junior liens declared inferior, and request costs and relief as justice requires. Defendants include Cella A Wetzel Michael Wetzel George M Davidson and others. Respondents must answer by October 17 1898.
Non resident defendants John Mori Eva Moral and Martin Koehler are notified of a district court petition to foreclose a mortgage on the NE 1/4 of Section 21 Township 11 Range 50 Cheyenne County. The note for 500 dollars with annual 317.60 interest coupons dated June 1 1883 is due. plaintiff seeks payment plus costs and sale of the property if unpaid. Answer by October 1 1898.
Land Office at Sidney Nebraska issues notice that Mary Lenzen H F Bu X17 seeks final proof for her land claim. Final proof before the register or receiver at Sidney on November 12, 1998, witnesses Peter Lenzen Nickolas Treinen Daniel Kelly John W McDaniel all of Sidney Nebraska.
Notice of contest filed by Kutle Sukovaty against Lomestead entry 2740 made May 9 1882 for the southwest and other sections. Contest alleges abandonment and noncompliance with residency and cultivation. hearing set for 10 A.M. November 10 before the Sidney land office register and receiver. Sale set October 10, 1898 at Sidney Courthouse front door.
