Amariah T Snyder died Saturday at 1 30 p m from pneumonia after a long illness begun on Thanksgiving Day. Born August 3 1830 in Stuben County New York he lived in Wayne County New York Missouri and Nebraska before settling in Sidney. Survived by wife Anna Eliza Moore and children Maggie and Henry. Funeral Sunday at 1 30 p m conducted by Rev Bakes at his home. Buried Tito Cemetery.

Death of G. W. Leonard at 74 in Cheyenne county
G W Leonard aged 74 died Friday evening at his home twelve miles northeast of Sidney from paralysis after being stricken in town on September 15. Born in Augusta Virginia in 1824 he lived in Cheyenne county since 1891, survived by a wife four daughters and one son. He was a longtime Christian church member. Funeral at Dunkard church Sunday at 1 30 with J S Hadley officiating. Interment in Dunkard cemetery.

The body of Mrs D W Twist who died September 30 was taken to Bridgeport Connecticut on Saturday. She was 64 and had lived in Cheyenne county three years. She died at her son J B Twist's home and leaves a husband and ten children, five living in Bridgeport Brooklyn Chicago and this county.

Doctor Arrested In Lodgepole Over Fatal Surgical Case
Dr. E L Yarletz of Lodgepole was arrested on a complaint by Daniel Bauer of Bigspring after Bauer alleged a criminal surgical operation on his 29 year old daughter Borths on September 22 in Lodgepole. Borths died September 24 in Bigspring. Justice M J Nash set 32000 bond. preliminary hearing postponed to October 20 at defendant request. Heist and McIntosh retained for Yarietz. Coroner inquest in Bigspring implicated Hickman Duke as an accessory. the girl died without speaking.
