Ed Turner 91 died at his son Gradie's home in Prineville Oregon. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. at Craig Mortuary with Rev. Richard Carter officiating and burial in Greenwood Cemetery beside his wife. He moved from Wauneta Nebraska to Gurley in 1931, later lived with his son in Prineville. Survived by Gradie Turner three granddaughters and four grandsons.

Bushman Construction Victim of Thanksgiving Day Dynamiting
Bushman Construction Co built the 13th Ave underpass in Sidney. A dynamite blast last Thursday wrecked a cement mixer used on a Culbertson irrigation canal project. No injuries reported. Dynamite had been found in the mixer the week prior, according to Hitchcock County Sheriff Wayne Hovey. Bushman relocated from Sidney to Culbertson for the canal work.
