Planning future farming based on land use on Great Plains

Farm Security Administration regional director Cal A. Ward says farmers in the four state region are shifting to land based farming and careful planning. He notes 12 000 farm families left the northern Great Plains recently, with a line from Canada to Oklahoma dividing general farming in the east from grazing and livestock in the west. Ward emphasizes population shifts and relocation support as areas of focus for sustainable agriculture. The report also mentions local social notes and a junior class play at Goodview auditorium.
