Nixon Ag Plan Details Released to Aid Farmers in 1971

New oil site permits drilling in Margate field west of Sidney

Enbrook Oil and Gas Co. received a permit to drill in the Margate oil field west of Sidney. The No. 2 State well sits in NESE Sec. 16-14-50 with Garvey Drilling Co. as contractor. The field takes its name from a nearby old railroad siding named Margate.

Cigarette Tax Sparks Debate in Sterling Colorado

Minor two car crash in Sidney at 13th and Toledo

Sidney police investigated a minor two car mishap Tuesday at about 5 40 p m at 13th and Toledo. Mary A Brown of 2651 Laredo Lane stopped for a stop sign and backed up after seeing another car, hitting Randy McDowell of 2623 Monterey Drive who was driving the second auto.

Colonels Ready for Sidney High School Show Tonight and Tomorrow

NU Chancellor to Speak at Sidney Luncheon

Durward B. Warner chancellor of the University of Nebraska will address an 11 45 luncheon at the Fort Sidney Motor Hotel next Tuesday.
