Papst seeks to annul deed of Traeymor land after father’s death

A. Papst of Traeymor Iowa begins proceedings to set aside a deed made by A. J. Haskell to his second wife covering 414 acres and the family home. The move aims to let Haskell’s daughter share in the estate, as her son supports the claim. The deed was recorded after Haskell’s death. In a separate action, the Sidney Mercantile Co petitions E McLernon for specific performance of a sale contract concerning business property. Kings Daughters Bazaar Brightens Mrs Simon Home

Mrs Simon's home opened Wednesday for a Kings Daughters Bazaar with lavender and white decor. The candy table themed red delighted guests and the fancy work netted over 25 dollars. A lunch and varied program showcased members' handiwork and culinary skill. The Sidney Mercantile Co. no longer owns the corner building. On Thursday, McLernon sold it to J W Harper and B A Jones for 8200 dollars, with plans for a three story building considered by the new owners.
