Accident at Potter R R Crossing Injures Brown Brothers
Arthur and Ralph Brown were struck by local freight No 62 at Potter crossing while returning from dinner to work on a new schoolhouse. Ralph was thrown about fifty feet with back injuries and bruises. Arthur was pinned against a wire fence with severe hip injuries. Emmons and Melvin Brown escaped unharmed as one horse died and the wagon wrecked. The brothers were taken to St Andrew Hospital in Sidney for treatment.

Obituary for Sidney Pioneer Michael H Tobin
Michael H Tobin a longtime Sidney resident and business leader died after a brief illness. Born in Tyrone Pennsylvania he moved to Nebraska as a youth and settled in Sidney in 1877 forming the firm Doran and Tobin then building the Tobin Block. He leaves a widow and three children and was remembered for acts of kindness and community service. Funeral services were held at his home with Sidney Lodge No 91 I O O F in attendance and interment followed in the city cemetery.

Pioneer ranchman Lloyd Remsburg dies in Illinois
Lloyd Remsburg a Cheyenne county pioneer ranchman and part owner of the Club Ranch died Thursday in LaMoille Illinois where he sought treatment for a set of illnesses. He was a genial man with many friends. The Christensen family of Sundl mourns the death of their ten month old daughter from spinal meningitis. The child was buried in Sidney after quarantine prevented public services. Christensen is a Sunol section foreman. The community extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
