Early Morning Intersection Crash Damages Reported

Judy LeBar of Broadwater recently turned 11 after a life changing heart operation at Children's Memorial Hospital Chicago about a year ago. Funds from the Scottsbluff Elks lodge arranged by Leonard Harrison supported her care. The party at Broadwater Lutheran church basement was attended by seventeen Luther League friends, with mother Mrs Louis Berta and teacher Mrs Dan West assisting. A Chicago doctor’s check up showed good progress, and Judy was brought to the city by her grandmother Mrs Harm Hippen of Lodgepole.

Wreck on County Road Causes High Damages Near Dalton
A collision Tuesday night on a county road two miles west of Dalton caused about 800 dollars in damage. A 1939 Pontiac driven by Charles F. Wilson and a 1950 Chevrolet pickup driven by James Thompson were involved after Wilson stopped on the eastbound shoulder and Thompson, blinded by oncoming lights, struck the parked car and rake.
