Dances and Club Meetings Highlight Local Social Calendar

Last Friday’s opera house dance by the Dedrick orchestra drew high praise for its perfection. The P. B. E. O. society met with Mrs. L. G. Simon to host Mrs. Nora Killian, state inspector for the P. E. O. sisterhood. The Woman's Club enjoyed the best attendance yet this season at the Grabill home with recipes shared, a paper on Thanksgiving in Ye Olden Time, and a luncheon. The Yelping Hand society elected officers for another term and sewed for the hostess Mrs. Walters. Lady Maccabees held a surprise luncheon after their session, a second such event recently.
