Fleming Urges Action on Hen Pheasant Season
Sen. George H. Fleming urged sportsmen to pressure for a possible reversal of the open hen pheasant season in January. He said objections should reach the state fish and game commission, noting the panel could only change the ruling if it acts. The commission held a November meeting and will reconvene in December. From Jan 9 to 17 hunters may take one hen pheasant per day unless the ruling is rescinded.
