Funeral services for Henry Koester Sr., 67, a western Nebraska resident since 1918, will be held this morning at 9:30. Msgr. Anton Link will preside at St. Patrick's Church. interment in the Catholic cemetery. Pallbearers include Frank Alfter and Dennis Wynne among others. Koester, born June 30, 1878 in Missouri, died Friday at his son Alfred’s home in Venango after months of ill health. he leaves wife Eleanor and 11 children plus siblings and grandchildren.
