Six Year Old Struck By Car In Tuesday Collision
Mitchell McGowan six years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ward McGowan of 1743 Dodge, was hit at 3 15 p m Tuesday while crossing Illinois toward Dixie Discount and turning back. The Ford driven by Helen M Tallmage of rural Sidney struck him on the hip, causing facial abrasions and hip bruises. He did not require hospitalization or stay home from school.

Nebraska oil output above 925000 barrels in September
Nebraska produced more than 925 thousand barrels of oil in September, with a daily average of 30,865 barrels, about the same as August.
