Fire damages gas plant near Peetz
Fire at the Ginther Warren and Ginther natural gasoline plant west of Peetz started from a broken heating coil that spilled oil and ignited. Peetz fire crews lacked foam extinguishers and were unable to fight the blaze. Sterling rural fire unit arrived and put out the fire. No injuries were reported.

Slick Roads Cause Three Auto Crashes Near Sidney
