The Veterans of Foreign Wars and Auxiliary will hold a district meeting in Sidney this Sunday, November 18. Needy Kings Daughters Seek Seasonal Charity Funds
The Kings Daughters of Sidney, one of the oldest women’s groups, launch a fund drive for charitable work this Christmas after canceling their Thanksgiving dance. Well Known Kimball Farmer Dies in Kimball Hospital
Fred H. Larson 53 of Kimball died Sunday in a Kimball hospital. Born August 9, 1883 in Banner County, he married Evelyn Wilger on December 27, 1927. He was a Methodist Episcopal member and Knights of Pythias Grand Outer Guard. Survived by wife, three sons Leonard Kenneth Donald and daughter Lois, plus sister and brother. Funeral held in Kimball.

One Person Injured In Highway Mishaps
Donald Kintz of Sioux Ord nance Depot escaped injury when his car overturned on Highway No. 30 two miles east of Sunol. Estimated damage $250. Montra Ella Motley, from Alliance, rode with Edward L. Butler, and was slightly injured near Gurley on Highway No. 19 when Butler’s car rear ended Nellie K. Demmerritt’s machine. Damages to both vehicles totaled about $300.
