Society Notes: Luncheon and club gatherings featured at Union Pacific
A series of social events dominated the week with Mrs Don Howard hosting a one o clock luncheon for J F W club members at the Union Pacific hotel. Guests included Mrs Harshman and Mrs Lowe as autumn leaves set the scene. Wives of Sidney doctors entertained visiting colleagues with luncheons bridge and a banquet at the country club. A birthday party honored Marjorie Ells with an eleven theme and patriotic decorations. Hi Lo club and fathers night activities rounded out the social calendar with prizes and scouts events.
