Roy Webb aged 20 and James White 21 both of St Louis are jailed in Cheyenne county after a spree described as extending from the west coast to Ogallala. They stole a Yakima car at Seattle, wrecked near Sidney and swapped cars at Illinois street. They fled through Lodge Pole and Chappell robbing a filling station a bakery cash register and a bank employee’s Buick before heading to Ogallala.

Nellie Tayloe Ross, former Wyoming governor, disappeared between Detroit and Traverse City while en route to lecture.
