Final UF Drive Is Outlined For 1971 Funding

United Fund officials outlined a plan Wednesday night to wind up the 1971 drive within weeks. With six weeks gone the total is just over $8,000 toward a $12,700 goal. Benny Hochmann said sizeable contributions promised may add about $2,500, still leaving a $2,000 shortfall. He and others will press personal calls and telephone appeals, noting more than thirty Sidney businesses have not yet contributed. The advance gifts list was reviewed and about half of the original mailing list has contributed. Hochmann hopes to finish the campaign this month to prevent budget shortfalls for the nine member organizations.
