In Cheyenne County the election produced firm wins for H T Doran county clerk S Fishman treasurer J W McDaniel judge Henry E Gapen superintendent Edith Morrison surveyor L B Bordwell and commissioner J J Parks with Sidney contributing the largest share of votes Doran ran unopposed while McDaniel won by 202 votes and Parks by 35 over Hedlund with Gapen Morrison and Bordwell retaining their posts and Halston re elected by a large margin.

Cheyenne county Nebraska board convened November 8 1911 at Court House Sidney with Chairman Hainton and two members. They approved October 3 minutes and set November 15 to hear remonstrance on Road 203 A. Sheriff ordered to take Richard Hamann for District Court due to jail shortage. Appropriations for Court House contracts and various claims listed with warrants to finish by mid November. Adjourned to November 15 1911.

D. A. Barnhart died at his Sidney home at age 71 after two months of declining health. Funeral plans await final hour, set for Sunday at the residence. Survived by sons John of Ogden Utah and Guy of Nebraska City, daughter and husband Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Atkins of Bridgeport, with Hugh Barnhart of Cheyenne visiting recently.
