Rites Held for Rev M E Douglas in Sidney
Funeral services for the Rev. M E Douglas 69 of Sidney were held at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Stanley Ganzel officiating. He died Friday at Memorial Hospital from a heart attack. He leaves a widow Harriett, a daughter Jean Magnuson and two grandchildren. Memorials go to the United Methodist Church.

Charges Filed After Sunday Auto Mishaps
Police charged Larry Krauter of 1845 Cedar with leaving the scene of an accident and driving while intoxicated after his eastbound car on Jackson Street struck a parked vehicle at 1944 Jackson owned by Rod Hecker and later hit a dead end sign on 18th Avenue. Hecker’s car was a total loss. Krauter was stopped by Sidney Police Department before leaving the scene.
