Make-up of Food Train Stops in Sidney Next Tuesday Night
The Friendship Food Train will arrive in Sidney next Tuesday night from 9 45 to 10 45 with four diesel power units two Union Pacific special business cars one sleeper one diner two sleepers a flat car with lighting and loudspeakers for entertainers a radio equipped box car and five red white and blue box cars. If it grows to eighty cars or more the train may be split into two sections. It will be spotted on the west bound mainline with the entertainers on the flat car just before the 10th Avenue crossing. Police will deploy extra officers to manage the crowd with at least two bands from Sidney and Sunol.

Dickinson Is Sent To Pen For Ten Years In Nebraska State Penitentiary
Chester L. Dickinson, 31, was sentenced to ten years in the Nebraska State Penitentiary after pleading guilty to assault and forcible robbery. He admitted entering Harvey’s trailer at Lodgepole, attacking Harvey, stealing $53, and fleeing toward Big Springs before being captured. His wife Ethel Dickinson was cleared of charges as an accessory. Dickinson has four prior offenses.

Hearing Held For Attacker in Kimball County Case
A 33 year old Ohio man Melvin C Carr faces a morning hearing before Kimball County Judge O C Wisdom on kidnapping and rape charges involving Mr and Mrs Robert Carney of Youngstown Ohio. Carr pleaded not guilty and posted a 3000 bond but failed to furnish. Victims described a gun point assault near Kimball Bushnell early Oct 29 after Carneys were hijacked hitchhiking west from Peoria Illinois. Carr was located at Rock Springs Wyoming and identified by the Carneys in Kimball. He drove a 1947 model car at arrest.
