York Progress reports Nebraskans at the 15th State Wheat Show heard Dr M Daly plant pathologist at the University of Nebraska outline chemical control for rust in wheat. Jack Higgs a 26 year old Kimball laborer was fined 50 dollars and costs in Cheyenne County Court after pleading guilty to authoring a no fund check. He wrote a 365 dollar check on a Denver bank and passed it in the Lorenzo store on October 10. Judge C W Smith ordered restitution in addition to the fine.

Cer Strikes Rear Of Two Automobiles In Sidney
A car driven by D and Thomas of Sidney rammed two autos near Jackson Street and Tenth Avenue about 2:37 am Wednesday. The 1950 Thomas Ma’ne struck the right rear of a car driven by Walter Hrbeck 28 and the left rear of a parked car owned by H C Westphalen 65. Damages exceed $200. Thomas was eastbound on Jackson Street while Hrbeck’s vehicle stopped at a stop sign.
