Patrol Car Sustains Damage In Accident
A Nebraska Safety Patrol cruiser operated by Trooper Del Shipley from Sidney was damaged Saturday night in a county road crash south of Lodgepole. Auto Crash Destroys Grocery Store Entrance
A 1951 auto driven by Mrs Joe Heizer of Dalton jumped the curb and crashed into Hei zer Grocery about 10 10 am Saturday. Deputy Kermit Srumbaugh said the driver stepped on the accelerator by mistake and the car broke four posts and three plate glass windows. The vehicle stopped in the store doorway 520 feet from its curb parking spot. No injuries were reported. Store damage was about 500 dollars and the car about 450 dollars.
