Aged Peetz Lady Dies Saturday Rites Held
Mrs. Mary C. Shuman aged 89 died at a Sidney hospital Saturday morning. Funeral services were held yesterday at the Peetz Community church with Rev. McPherson officiating. Burial will be in Marietta Ohio, her former home. She was born January 26 1857 in Marietta and lived with her son George Bulis of Peetz for the past ten years. Survived by three sons George Peetz Earl Gurley and Edward Denver, one son-in-law and two husbands predeceased her, plus seventeen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Two Fined In Court On Traffic Counts
Two motorists faced court on intoxicated driving charges before County Judge Robert A. Barlow. Albert C. Volz of Sterling Nebraska was fined 25 dollars and costs and banned from driving in Nebraska for one year. Henry Jessen of Lodgepole received the same fine and a one year license suspension. Both cases were filed by state highway patrolmen.

A summer program for Sidney children is being organized with the Sidney Lions and Rotary clubs sponsoring and others likely to join.
