Sidney High School journalism class completes three projects
The Sidney High School journalism class, in conjunction with the Sidney Telegraph, finished three major yearlong projects. The Trail yearbook for the senior class has 72 pages with student activities, edited by Jack Welsh and Marva Ladine. The Sidney Hi Life newspaper ran ten regular issues and one senior edition, edited by Joanne Cunningham with Har old Craig Jr and later Duane Ladine and Robert Harrington as associate editors, and subscribed by 375. A 16 page school handbook detailing traditions, rivals, membership requirements, courses, and rules was edited by Jack Welsh and distributed to seniors with others at next year’s registration. The class contributed about 535 column inches to the Telegraph, under faculty supervision by Miss Agnes Horton.

Thomas Dean, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Stewart of Sunol, died at two days old and was buried in the Chappell cemetery after a brief service at Craig Home for Funerals conducted by Rev.
