WPA Road Project In Cheyenne County Approved

Mrs H F Freytag will sail from New York on June 1 aboard the S S Washington for a three month tour of Europe. She will join Cook tour guides in Hamburg then visit Germany Holland Switzerland Italy and France before July 15. Thieves Steal Auto In Farmer's Field

Durst recently played at the Eastman Hotel Hot Springs Arkansas and has appeared at the Thomas Jefferson Hotel Birmingham Plaza Hotel Dallas Bachelor's Club Austin and Uptown Village Chicago. Four Women Escape Serious Injuries In Car Overturn
Four women tourists from Salt Lake City escaped with minor scratches and shock after their car overturned following a tire blowout on highway No. 30, west of Potter. Owner Beulah Thatcher and driver Ruth Merill, both of 2219 South Fifth East, Salt Lake City, were among two other passengers. Deputy Sheriff Barton Taylor noted loss of control led to the crash. Loyal Verne Mefferd, 29, of Carpenter Wyoming, was sentenced to two years in the state penitentiary after pleading guilty to larceny from the person for stealing thirty five dollars from LeRoy Miller of Lodge Pole. Mefferd and his son were arrested in Cheyenne at the sheriff’s request. the son was absolved of blame.
