30 Day Sentence for Grand Larceny Shocks Wisconsin Man
Charles W. Flick, 55, of Eau Claire Wisconsin, was sentenced by District Judge I J Nisley to 30 days in jail after pleading guilty to grand larceny. He will serve in Cheyenne County jail for stealing $36 from a room in a local rooming house. Car Wrecked as Driver Narrowly Escapes Injury
A 1941 Ford was totally wrecked about 2:15 AM Monday five and a half miles east of Sidney. Driver Paul Hecker Jr., of Sidney, escaped serious injury after the car left the road, rolled over three times and stopped 260 feet from the roadway. Deputy Arnold Braasch, the investigating officer, reported the sequence of loss of control and rollover.

Light Collision at 13th and Winners Causes Minor Damage
A 12:45 PM Thursday crash at the 13th and Winners intersection involved a 1939 Mercury driven by Donald L. Masur of Sidney and a 1946 Chevrolet four door driven by Don Voegler of Oshkosh. The Mercury sustained about 315 in damage while the Chevrolet had none.
