The Scottsbluff chamber of commerce expects H. J. Dollinger, secretary of the Scottsbluff civic club, to speak at the regular meeting next Monday noon. Dollinger plans to attend with three or four Bluffs men unless a last minute cancellation arises. He is regarded as a standout civic club secretary in Nebraska and has helped guide many city development moves. Although he asked for a club visit instead of a formal address, he is likely to be asked for a brief talk on topics of his choosing.

Dorus E. Davison, son of James E and Mrs Davison, pioneer Cheyenne county residents, died at his Edgar Nebraska home after a five year illness. He was born on the old Davison farm near Ickes west of Dalton, lived there until 20, then moved to Edgar where he resided 28 years. Funeral arrangements were definite yesterday. John Davison of Dalton, a brother, had been at Edgar since last Sunday during his illness. Relatives from Dalton and Mrs A A Rudd and Mrs Herbert Foster will attend. He leaves a wife and two children Richard and Verna.

Death of Cheyenne County native John T. McIntosh at 67
John T. McIntosh, 67, longtime Sidney resident and prominent local figure, died after a cerebral hemorrhage at a local hospital. Born April 9, 1871 in Potter, he spent most of his life in Cheyenne County, worked with The American Bank, and served as Sidney postmaster from 1910 to 1920. He was survived by wife Mary, two children Clifton and Jean, sister Grace, and three grandchildren.

The Tele graph prints Cheyenne County 1938 budget message and outlines proposed expenditures totaling 146 960 across general bridge county drug road relief mothers pension and soldiers relief funds. Police Chief Sidney H. Moore yesterday advised Sidney residents against throwing grass and other rubbish into gutters of oiled and paved streets. The debris is carried to storm sewer drains when it rains, clogging drains and causing water to overflow curbs.
