Despite heavy rain a large audience attended the Odd Fellows Centennial Celebration in Sidney Lodge hall. Delegations from nearby towns filled the crowd as Rev. J J Langston and Judge Joseph Oberfelder gave addresses. Refreshments followed, a Peetz Colorado girl performed a recitation, and music and singing continued past midnight. The event was hailed as one of the best ever held in Sidney.

About twenty five Sidney and Potter business men hosted a banquet at the Union Pacific Hotel honoring Fred Davis of First National Bank Omaha and J Roberts, an electrical man. J. W. Harper presided, Davis and Roberts spoke of Cheyenne county land loans and electrical investments, with other local figures named as speakers.
