Two New Substations Planned in Cheyenne County Area

Rural Electric Co based in Pine Bluffs Wyoming will build two substations in western Cheyenne County funded by a 41 million loan from the Rural Electrification Administration. The project includes six miles of distribution line and seventy one miles of transmission line with over two million dollars to be spent in Nebraska and additional substations in Banner and Kimball counties.
