Three Ohioans to stand trial on kidnapping and escape
District Court bound over Brent K Kegley 19 of Portsmouth Darrell E Ross 24 of Akron and Carol J Stafford 20 of Akron on kidnapping and escaping custody after a two hour hearing. Prosecution witness Elmo Strong 62 testified of threats and theft during the jail escape near Sidney. The trio remains charged with assault with intent to commit robbery and faces trial.
