Homesteader Charles A. Clark Dies at 72 in Broadwater
Charles A. Clark a lifelong homesteader who settled near Dalton in 1911 died yesterday in a Bridgeport hospital at age 72. Born December 4, 1884 in Wymore Nebraska he moved west in 1907 and later lived in Broadwater, married Julia Babb in 1911. Survivors include his daughter Edith Allison of Colorado Springs two sons Loren of Shoshoni Wyoming and Arthur of England two sisters Marysville Kansas and Edith McKee two brothers Harry Elliott Indiana and George Colorado Springs eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Messiah Lutheran Church Broadwater with Rev Mortenson officiating. Burial will be in the Dalton Cemetery family plot.
