Dan B Holliday alias Ralph Rounds, a famed rodeo rider from Wyoming, visited Sidney spending sprees and written checks. Merchants alerted Cheyenne Sheriff W W Schulz locating him in Douglas. Rounds, with prior bad acts, confessed to forgery in a preliminary hearing and is bound over to district court.

Crash injures one at Sunol intersection
A Tuesday afternoon crash at the U S Highway 30 and Sunol main street intersection injured a tourist. A 1935 Ford coach driven by Charles C Hille of Freeport Illinois and a 1948 Chevrolet sedan driven by Harve Misegadis of Sunol collided. Damages were about 40 and 125 dollars with Beulah I Hille suffering a bruised forehead and cut above the eye.
