Patrol Dispatcher Helps Locate Forger Mosier
An alert Nebraska Safety Patrol dispatcher in Sidney helped lawmen track William Edward Mosier wanted on a forgery count. Sheriff W. W. Schulz said Mosier had passed two $25 checks in Sidney and Gurley and a $20 check in Lodgepole using the name Don Bremer. Mosier, jailed in Chappell for an April 16 driving while intoxicated sentence, said he did not write the checks and did not know the man who did. He will be transferred to Cheyenne County after serving remaining days.

Dozer Blade and Car Collide on County Road
A 1:30 PM Wednesday collision on a county road one mile south of Potter involved a D-8 Caterpillar dozer blade and a 1959 Ford from the State Department of Roads. No injuries. $150 damage to the car. Driver of the car was Robert A. Sharp, 20, of Rose Street, Potter. dozer operator David L. Dempster, 45, Potter, was pulling the blade.

Farm Mishap Fatal to Cousin of County Agent
A 15 year old North Platte youth, Stephen Dean, was instantly killed in a farm mishap near the city. He was a cousin of Ivan Liljegren, Cheyenne County Extension Agent in Sidney. Dean and a farmer were handling aluminum irrigation pipe that contacted a power line, causing the fatality.
