The Bidney Auxiliary of the American Legion held a large meeting Tuesday night. A new silk flag and Auxiliary emblem light were dedicated, and fifteen new members were initiated, bringing total membership to fifty four. A luncheon followed, and the group decided to operate a canteen at Sidney Country Club during upcoming golf tournaments. D. D. Hanson of Fremont audited Sidney Municipal Service books, a son of a well known booster for Cheyenne county.

Al Bauer, a noted farmer and stock buyer, misplaced 500 dollars in the M. W. Osborn garage Tuesday afternoon. Lawrence Davis, a garage employee and Sidney High School star scholar and athlete, found the money on the floor and returned it to Bauer after completing a four year course in three and a half years and then joining the Osborn operation.

Music Week May 4 to 10 will be observed in Sidney on a large scale with local sponsorship by the Womans club and Chamber of Commerce backing.
