Governor Says State to Intervene In Air Service
The Office of Gov. Ralph Brooks said a state protest will be filed with the Civil Aeronautics Board over Frontier Airlines suspension of service to Sidney. Rolland Hart, state aeronautics director, will file a complaint to urge temporary resumed service while city and airline negotiate landing fees and other contract terms. Sen. Carl Curtis may accompany the request. The Sidney City Council planned to discuss the suspension, noted Frontier quit without notice last Friday.

Mrs. Charles S. Jobe 79 a resident of Cheyenne County for 40 years died Friday night at Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Gurley Methodist Church with Rev. Homer Hix and Rev. James Holden officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery under Craig Mortuary direction. Rest Home addition to Memorial Hospital designated as memorial by family. Survivors include husband two daughters Estyl Berry of Dalton and Ada Sayre of Sidney four grandchildren two great grandchildren and one sister Evva Knox of Berthoud. Pallbearers listed.

North Platte Man Dies Here Saturday
Reven K Moore. 9, of North Platte, nephew of the late Mrs. E J Leonard of Sidney, died unexpectedly early Saturday morning at a local motel. He was a salesman for a flooring company in Lincoln. Funeral services will be in Lincoln where his wife resides. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Sharon Anderson of Riverside California and Miss Judith Moore of Lincoln, and one brother, Harry Moore of Sutherland. The Gehrig and Son Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.

Norfolk Men Held On Charge of Harboring
