Potter Co op Elevator Groundbreaking Report
Ground has been broken for the Potter Co Op Elevator with heavy equipment moved into Potter. J Tillotson Construction of Denver holds the contract. The town also hosts social events and community notices including a Jolly Neighbors Club meeting planned for March 27 to raise eggs for Omaha Children's Hospital, plus various local visits and schooling updates.

Little Stitchers Club Elects New Officers
The Little Stitchers Club met Friday with Gary Hossack as entertainer. Officers elected: President Alice Lyons, Vice President Gary Hossack, Secretary Connie Hanson, Treasurer Jerry Wolf, News Reporter Lynn Wolf. Dainty refreshments were served. The club will meet again in two weeks.

Annual basketball banquet details and local visits
The annual basketball banquet for grades and high school teams was held last Tuesday at the schoolhouse. Sponsored by the Mothers, the event hosted boys and their fathers with five tables set for 62 in Mustang colors red and white. A dinner and social followed. William T. Roberts of Oshkosh was a guest at the E. H. Ehlers home. Several saw the film Charlie's Aunt at the schoolhouse. Mrs. J. L. Doggett returned home from Streemsberg after a month with her daughter. Lt. Le Lyle Seda, recently stationed in Wisconsin, visited his parents and relatives. Tom Hubbel went to Cheyenne, then returned. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Johnson traveled to Denver and back. The Sedas hosted Sunday dinner with the Joe Zimola family. Mr. and Mrs. John DeMers Sr. returned from a two week trip.

Stay In Omaha. While there they visited their daughter Miss Duv ee at Brownell Hall. Miss Wood and Miss Hoffman were Wednesday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Boitiser. Mrs. E. H. Ehlers and Mrs. T. A. Caldwell called on Mrs. HL Mises gadis on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. A. J. Fenske and son Jackie left Friday for Seattle to visit relatives and friends.
