The Lodgepole Valley Activities Association hosts a two day festival March 21 22 at Memorial Hall Big Springs. March 21 features an 8 30 vocal clinic with entries from Big Springs Lodgepole Gurley Potter Dalton Dix Lorenzo and Bushnell and about 32 vocal numbers. A massed chorus rehearsal led by Archer B Hayes of Chadron Nebraska State Teachers College follows and Hayes serves as vocal critic for the morning session. March 22 begins at 8 30 with the Big Springs band followed by instrumental numbers from the listed communities. All committees have bands performing.
