Food Supply Outlook for 1952 Brighter Yet Price Rise Expected

Beef and veal production should offset military needs, while fish supplies stay similar to 1951 but with more fresh and frozen options. Eggs chicken and turkey rise, fluid milk and ice cream increase, butter declines, fresh vegetables may stay tight, and spring planting is encouraged by high 1951 prices.
