About 30 members of school district reorganization committees from five Panhandle counties attended a regional meeting in Bridgeport. County Supt. J E Shedd presided in Stan Hawley’s absence as weather delayed him in Lincoln. Max Emery outlined the county questionnaires sent to about 3,500 rural Scotts Bluff families to gauge sentiment toward redistricting. Committees have formed in every Nebraska county to study regional issues.
