Ne al Jensen five year old son of Carl and Mrs. Jensen of 1908 4th Sioux Villa was reported missing Tuesday night triggering a large search by police firemen and volunteers. Mrs Hinrichs of Gurley Dies a Weyerts Pioneer
Mrs. John Hinrichs 72 longtime Weyerts resident died suddenly at her home seven miles east of Gurley after waking for the day. She was formerly Anna Miller and widow of John Hinrichs who died in 1941. Surviving are seven children including Henry John Gurley and John Herman Gurley. Burial plans await word from out-of-state relatives. She was a longtime member of Weyerts Church.

Farm price indices rise in Nebraska with February peak
The all-commodity index of prices received by Nebraska farmers climbed to 282 percent of the 1910-14 average as of February 15, up nine points since December. The February level is 42 percent above last year and the highest February on record, though 7 percent below the October 1946 peak. George A. Van Aelstyn aged 83 died Wednesday while visiting his daughter. Funeral services are planned Saturday at nine from the Catholic Church with Msgr. Anton Link officiating and burial to follow in Holy Sephuldhré Cemetery in Orange, California. Pallbearers include Ed Van Aelstyn, Robert Kurz, Martin Patrick, Denver Brooks, Victor Chambers and Joseph Kennedy. He was born August 10, 1863 in Seneca Falls, New York, married Cecilia Lynott in 1890, lived in Fort Lupton and Kimball, moved to San Pedro in 1920, and was survived by two sons, four daughters, 18 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Interment was in Sidney cemetery with pallbearers W W Schulz Arnold Braasch George Young I L Pindell Frank Boyle and Vern Livingston. Survived by wife Clara and seven children including Lizzie Taylor Etha Nichols Bessie Taylor Algie Price Nellie Isminger Elmer Hewitt. 24 grandchildren 42 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. The Hewitts moved from Beav er City to Ansley Cheyenne County and finally to McCook before burial.
