Two Women Injured In Wednesday Accidents Near Potter Nebraska
Two women treated for injuries after Wednesday crashes were reported to be doing well. Mrs. William A. Sparks, 79, of Sidney, suffered a fractured knee cap, chest concussion and shock after a rear end collision on Highway 19 near the Highway 19 and 30 junction. Mrs. A. L. Sample, 45, of Hastings, received a forehead wound requiring stitches and shock when her car left Highway 30 west of Potter after a tire failure. Damages were estimated at 800 and 300 dollars respectively. A separate Monday morning crash on Highway 30 near Potter involved a semi truck loaded with oranges and a jackknifed fifth wheel after the vehicle left the oil highway.
