Casing is being set and perforation planned while other wells in the region show mixed results including salt water in Sell No. 1 and gas prospects at adjacent Dakota levels. The Reese No. 1 gas well in Deuel County Nebraska may be among the largest producers in the Rocky Mountain region with an estimated output over thirty million cubic feet per day from the first Dakota sandstone. Draper Buys Ice Plant to Create Self-Service Co
Glenn Draper has purchased the ice making machinery of The Western Ice and Storage Co and will install the equipment at the rear of Yates Bowling Alley. The new firm, to be called The Self Service Co, will be managed by Lee Gain. Roberta Byrd, owner of The Western Ice and Storage, sold the equipment to focus on storage oil and beer businesses. The change reflects a shift from ice manufacture to serving farmers downtown and other customers.

Schwartz officiating. Burial Greenwood Cemetery directed by Craig Mortuary. Active pallbearers Myrle Hoffman, T. R. Tillotson, Lawrence Osborn, Verne Sharman, S. F. Irwin, Malcolm Yeager. Honorary pallbearers W. T. Sharman, Ed Miles, Charles E. Smith, John Olson, Albin Johnson, L. A. Pearson. Born May 10, 1899 in Minden Nebr. Moved to Cheyenne County in 1907. Raised near Sidney. Married Mable Foster March 6, 1935. Lived north west of Sunol before moving to present home six years ago. Active in community and Sidney Methodist Church. Serviced as county Farmers Union officer, school board member, and assistant chairman of the church board at death. Survived by wife, three sons Roger, Stanley, Francis, father J. C. Jorgensen, and sister Mrs. Clarence Dorman. Preceded in death by sister Martha (1921) and mother (1946).

Three Hurt In Auto Accident In Lorenzo
Three persons were injured when two cars collided at a Lorenzo crossroads about 10:15 p m Wednesday. Edson Madden drove a 1950 Chrysler west, Nels Nelson a 1950 Buick south. Madden was thrown from the car suffering severe cuts bruises and a broken nose. His children Jerry and Alice were also hurt. Damages were about 1500 on Madden's car and 400 on Nelson's.

Civic Music Membership Is Increased in Sidney
