The Cheyenne county board met March 5 1906 with R Emanuelson as chairman and approved minutes and tax adjustments for Elbert Scott and D W White. Bonds for several road overseers were approved, funds moved between district and high school accounts, and road vacating and establishment petitions granted. March 6 selected jurors for April district court term listed by three commissioner districts.

Death of Guy W. Cramer in Sidney hospital
Guy W. Cramer aged 19 died at his parents home in Sidney on Sunday evening March 5 from pneumonia and peritonitis after a short illness. Born September 4, 1883 in Marshall County Illinois he moved to Cheyenne county with his parents in 1888 and lived mostly in Sidney. He recently returned from Illinois and was in good health before his death. He was known as a bright cheerful young man with many friends. Funeral service was at the Lutheran church conducted by Rev. Leamer with burial in the Village cemetery.
