Chamber Plans Employee Membership Drive Next Tuesday
The Sidney Chamber of Commerce will launch an employee membership drive next Tuesday morning led by Chairman Dean Wilson. Dues are expected at 15 dollars including four meals. actual dues could be 5 dollars if meals are counted separately. The drive targets all Sidney employees plus ministers teachers and farmers. 213 businessmen are already signed for 1959 with a goal of 300 memberships plus 100 employee memberships to reach around 400 total.

72 Year Old Sidneyite Uninjured After Car Collision
A 72 year old Sidney man, Guy B. Hire, escaped injury in a two car collision at the 14th and King intersection about 3:55 p.m. The other vehicle was driven by W. G. Shamis. Damage to Shamis car was about 240 dollars and to Hire's auto about 35 dollars.
