Mrs. Maude Hammond Fling, 78, Nebraska landholder and cattle ranch developer, died Friday. Survivors include brother Charles P. Hammond of Greenville SC and sisters Mrs. Clara H. McWishe and Mrs. Anna H. Elliott of Lincoln. She was secretary treasurer of the Hammond Investment Company and funded University of Nebraska Agriculture research. Her husband Allan C. Fling died years ago.
