Tuesday night burglars entered the homes of N. E. Medlock and E. C. Stockdick while families were away at a Chautauqua. The Medlocks lost a small amount of money and heirloom jewelry. Stockdick reported no definite losses though their residence shared a furnished house with C. W. Simon. Entry came via a cut in a lower window screen, unlocking the window with a hand. Evidence appeared in opened buffet doors, dresser and chiffonier drawers, and other hurried disorder.

Omaha reports effective July 1 Union Pacific will add a division and reorganize the system. The Nebraska division will cover the main line and branches from Council Bluffs to North Platte under G. O. Brophy. Wyoming division runs North Platte to Rawlins under A. W. Woodruff, and a third division covers the main line west of Rawlins under H. A. Bell.
